Shetley Looks for Opening

Sullivan's girls basketball season came to an end Saturday at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar.

Carl Junction (28-0) topped the Lady Eagles (25-3), 64-48.

Mallory Shetley led Sullivan with 27 points, including 16 in a row during the first half.

Destiny Buerge scored 23 to lead Carl Junction. Missouri Gatorade Player of the Year Katie Scott netted 14.

The game was played in front of a small crowd as each team was limited to 60 fans.
