Dozens of artists have descended on Augusta as part of this year's Plein Air festival, which continues through April 30. The festival includes daily "paintouts" at different locations. Painters on Saturday, April 23, spent part of their day in downtown Augusta on Walnut Street and at Nobelis Winery.Â

Tim Davison, of Eureka, adds the finishing touches to his painting in the Augusta Town Park on April 23. Davison, who is making his Augusta Plein Air debut this year, took a photo of a child and french bulldog atop of the park's merry-go-round on his phone and used the image as a reference point to complete the artwork.Â
