Emily Melissa Scheible and Richard James Tobben, both of Washington, announce their recent wedding June 5, 2021, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Washington. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Mike Boehm. The bride was given in marriage by her father. A reception followed at KC Hall, Washington, with music provided by Craig Callaway of Flyer Productions.
The bride’s sister, Jodi Carter, served as matron of honor, with Abigail Tobben, Nicole Brinkmann, both of Washington, Abigail Keeven, Bland, and Alyssa Bopp, New Haven, serving as bridesmaids.
The flower girl was Janet Schmitt, Concord Hill.
Serving as best man was Cody Bollmann, Marthasville, with Grant Wheeler, Elkland, Justin Molitor, Foristell, Atlee Walde, Washington, and Ted Meyer, Concord Hill, serving as groomsmen.
The ring bearer was Luke Holdmeyer, Augusta.
The ceremony’s music was provided by Lucy Tobben on piano and LuAnn Engelbrecht as the vocalist.
The couple planned a honeymoon in Glacier National Park, Montana.
Scheible is the daughter of David and Kay Scheible, of Washington. She is a graduate of Washington High School, and she earned an associate degree from East Central College and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Missouri Baptist University. She works in data entry and customer service at Climate Express in Union.
Tobben is the son of James and Jennifer Tobben, of Washington. He is a graduate of Washington High School and earned an associate degree in business from East Central College. He is employed with Wahle’s Wood Works in Union.
