Tennesse San receives a Moderna COVID-19 shot

Tennessee San, left, receives a Moderna COVID-19 first-dose vaccine March 30 at East Central College in Union. The vaccination clinic was held in conjunction with Sinks Pharmacy, and 1,000 first doses of the vaccine were expected to be administered, the college wrote in a press release.

The Franklin County Health Department announced Tuesday that it would administer the Johnson and Johnson vaccine today at 308 Hawthorne Drive, the former Scenic Regional Library, in Union. 

Doors are open to walk-ins from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

To receive a vaccine, residents must be 18 or older and be eligible per the state's vaccination priority list, available here
