The Franklin County Health Department announced Thursday it would move to releasing one weekly report of new COVID-19 cases each Friday.
Friday’s report included six new cases among county residents, bringing the countywide total since the pandemic began to 9,394 cases. The report shows three county residents hospitalized with the virus and no cases among long-term care facilities. The 10-day rolling total of new cases is 44, and the 14-day new case average is 3.57.
According to state data, 36.5 percent of Franklin County residents have begun the vaccination process, and 27.3 percent are completely vaccinated.
Statewide, 37.4 percent of Missourians — or almost 2.3 million people — have begun the vaccination process, and 27.8 percent — or about 1.7 million people — are completely vaccinated.
