Washington city council meetings will continue starting at 7 p.m.

The city council briefly debated changing the meeting times and starting them earlier in the evening. However, at Monday’s administration/operations committee meeting, the council agreed the 7 p.m. time was fine.

Councilman Steve Sullentrup said he felt like the 7 p.m. time worked best for everyone from council members to people in the community. He said starting earlier would make it harder for families to attend.
