Washington High School will celebrate Homecoming Week Sept. 18-22.

This year’s theme is “Out of This World.”

The football game and dance is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 22. The football Blue Jays will face Ft. Zumwalt South at 7 p.m.

The homecoming court will be introduced at halftime of the game with coronation at the dance following the game.

Homecoming dance tickets for students will go on sale starting Monday, Sept. 18, through Friday, Sept. 22, in Northington Lobby before school.

The homecoming parade will take place Wednesday at 3 p.m. It will begin on Front Street at the Amtrak station. It will continue to Main Street, turn on Jefferson Street to Eighth Street to Sunnyside and to Washington High School.

The annual WHS Powder Puff football game between the juniors and seniors, sponsored by No Excuses, also will be held Wednesday, starting at 6 p.m. A bonfire will follow at the 14th Street practice field at approximately 7:30 p.m.
