A very good dr is gone. This is so hard to grasp. My heart goes out to his son, daughter, and wife who loved him dearly. He was the best dr I ever had in the past 7 years. I met him in the ER than he became my family dr. Yes you did spend a lot of time waiting, but it was well worth the wait. He understood me and my quirkiness claustrophobic ways and would always laugh. To the family, he talked about you all the time. He was the only dr who ever understood me. i hated to see him leave mercy. It took forever to find a new dr. The drs who replaced him walked me to the door in tears, saying we don't want to treat people like you. I was in total tears knowing I had to start over and find someone who understood me and my problems. The city of Washington and the surrounding counties have lost a wondeful dr.May 5, 2012
My heart goes out to Dr. Morris son, daughter, and wife. I too, thought he was the most wonderful caring dr I ever had. He took care of me in the ER then took me on as his patient and I miss him dearly. When mercy let him go, it took forever to find the right dr. and to this day no one will be able to take his place. I would wait for hours to see him also, and he would always spend all the time needed. He understood my quirliness claustrophobic ways, and would always laugh. I never visited him when he did not talk about his wonderful family. The drs. who took his place walked me to the door in tears and said we don't want to treat you as you have been treated so take it or leave it. I am so sorry you all have to go through this tragedy, but I believed in him and always will.May 4, 2012
