It is very clear that the press has little to print. Is Mr.Miller implying he is more deserving of a premium parking spot than a disabled veteran?Maybe the press should print something like why Obama really didn't want the oil pipeline from Canada.Maybe they should print that Burlington Northern Railroad currently is shipping the oil to the states.Maybe they should print who is the majority owner of that railroad is and that he is a major contributor of the Obama campaign fund. Now that would be a novelty to have a straight up factual article that people could find helpful. It is a real shame when the press attacks someone for standing up for the folks who have gave it all for the very rights they enjoy!Feb 2, 2012

I have never heard you say that you wanted to better fund the schools but you have indicated your disapproval of throwing good money after bad while holding schools accountable for their actions. You simply indicated that the schools should operate within their means. And I have been to several of your events. This parking legislation is a common sense legislation that no one else had the guts to introduce. The people will decide who is right on this matter. Its not going to be just members of the angry press that are not happy with you. It's not going to be a few teachers who are not happy with you because you do not want to reward poor performance. There are some great teachers out there who are deserving of great praise however. As far as wasting everyone's time;you are not! You are doing what you were elected to do.The truth is Feb 2, 2012

Senator Nieves:
I find the legislation that you introduced for veterans parking was very news worthy and very significant especially if you happened to be a disabled veteran who has given their all for all of us. It is a shame that the critics have no respect or gratitude for the brave men and women who have served our country.I noticed that no one has mentioned your legislation on their definition of major issues such as pushing back the federal government and enforcing our 10th amendment rights that our founding fathers gave us.And some critics calling our country a democracy when in fact it is a republic as per our pledge.Another critic who says the state has nearly a billion dollar shortfall when in fact it is less than 600 million which is still to much. The critics fail to mention the many times you have fought against legislation that would obligate Missourians to China with huge amounts of debt.I say thank you Senator Nieves for having the guts to stand up for our veterans and against the left wing press and these few folks that just don't get it that character and integrity comes first. It is very obvious what your critics stand for. I assure you Senator Nieves that the large majority of folks in your district have enough common sense know that you indeed have done the right thing in supporting our veterans.God Bless Our troops and you Senator Nieves.Jan 31, 2012
