Dr. Stephen Barrett, the physician who founded Quackwatch.org, has carefully researched many organizations claiming to be experts on health or medical issues. It's easy to understand why - FAN's website cites many "studies" that are flawed or have not been peer-reviewed by independent scientists.
Both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Dental Association endorse water fluoridation as safe and effective. I trust their knowledge and expertise. And I'm sure most people would trust them over the unproven claims that are often made on blog sites.11 months ago
