"He gave President Obama a close race." Really? Other than total blowouts, this election was not close. He beat Romney with a larger popular vote than he beat McCain. Obama lost N.C. and Virginia to Romney by a small margin; had he not, he would have essentially had the same number of electoral votes that he had over McCain. In addition, the election was essentially called before the polls closed in the east. NOT A CLOSE ELECTION! Obama won going away--as Nate Silver predicted, Obama had a 92% chance of winning.
