Franklin County are switching to narrowband...then why not Washington switch to narrowband? Will Washington be required to also change to new radios for the 2013 mandate? Who are making these radio decisions? Someone with radio knowledge needs to be making these decisions...seems like someone is wasting tax payers money!

Is this new radio system going to interact with the new system the county is working? I also read St. Charles county has a new system going in...is Washington system going to interact with their new system? It seems like a waste of money for the Washington radio network to be a stand alone system. Why not upgrade to a system that interacts with the new Franklin County system? Did anyone else get to bid on this project beside RadioComm? It seems like their bid is awfully close to what was budgeted. I think someone needs to ask these questions and think about an Missouri wide system instead of a stand alone system for Washington!8 months ago
