I agree with Don Henry, very well written letter. I was sickened when I read what Kathleen Branson had to write. I was so disgusted and outraged by Todd Akin’s comments. Todd Akin had finally said aloud what he really thinks about women. To minimize a woman begin raped is nauseating and as the election showed many people believed the same as me. , I have a hard time believing Mr. Akins believes and/or knows the Constitution. Kathleen agreed with the statement a woman needs to cover up more, blaming the victim, really. Don, I think you said it best when you wrote RAPE is a crime of violence not sexual attraction. In addition, may I add rape does not t just happen to women who choose to show more skin rape does not discriminate? As a Christian I try my hardest not to judge other people’s decisions or choices they make for their lives, (within the law) I was taught to pray for them.In closing, from a person who has worked with victims of rape, I say thank you for taking the time to write your letter, you did an excellent job telling it like it is!5 months ago

I am a full-blooded Democratic Mr. Nieve and I have very different views. However, I feel that Mr. Nieve should have gotten the order of protection against Mr. Bell months ago! Mr. Bell’s behavior prior to the election was disgusting and shameful. If you do not know how disgusting Mr. Bell’s behavior was research it. If the truth were known Mr. Bell, dirty tactics did nothing but hurt Mr. Stratman.
After all Mr. Bells nasty campaigning he had the nerve to walk into Mr. Nieves campaign headquarters to offer congratulations, yea right! Mr. Bell is a troublemaker and a sore loser and I find him nauseating. He has the nerve to ask for a order of protection, first he went to Mr. Nieve’s Headquarters and I know without asking Mr. Nieve if he never seen Bell again he would be very happy.
