This is silly. Taxpayers anywhere in the US should not have to pay for this operation . I`m addicted to riding my motorcycle but would not expect the system to let me bring my motorcycle to the prison yard for me to ride around to treat my condition. Prison system only responsible to keep you alive and reasonably healthy while your serving your time. I think the judge should be removed or sent for a mental exam for making a ruling like that.

Great to see these upgrades of the overpass at the sullivan exit. Always a congested area when getting off I-44 to this overpass because of the truck traffic from truck stop, walmart , lowes and several fuel and food stops in the area plus tourist coming and going to state park. It`s important to have traffic flow freely over the overpass because truckers , shoppers and tourist would avoid these congested areas and do business elsewhere . Plus emergency vehicles do not need a traffic jam to go through to get to a ambulance call or fire call when seconds count. I noticed the last debate the others like perry and Newt were adopting his ideals for themselves like : Cutting off foreign aid to other contries until we improve our deficit . Also auditing the Federal reserve and stop those idiots from just printing more money every time they feel like it. Stop any more raising of the debt ceiling . Balancing the budget and vetoeing any unbalanced budget that sent to him as president. NO WARS WITHOUT AN ACT OF CONGRESS ! Ending the corporate stranglehold on the whitehouse. Cut unnessasary spending by 1 trillion dollares in his first year of pesidency and balancing the budgit in 3 years of his pesidency. Repeal OBAMACARE and the federal mandate on health insurance. Protect our borders and stop policing the rest of the world. No amnesty for illeagal aliens invading our country. END birthright citizenship so people can`t cross the borders and give birth here to make their children automatic citizens. I could go on and on . Stop ignoring the person who can restore america. An outdoor icerink would have an incredible cost to build with all the refridgeration equipment involved . Incredible electric cost to run and would sit idle most of the year. The equipment would be vulnerable to the elements during off season and a refridgerant leak can be hazerdous and flamable in some circumstances. Also prone to vandalism with exposed refridgerant pipeing in the off season. Way too expensive to build and maintain in our weather climate. Wanna skate on ice in winter plan a trip to new yorks rockefeller plaza and spend your money not the taxpayers of our area. Ice skating is great way to break a arm, leg ,hip or hit your head on the ice. Romantic idea but definately not feasable or nessasary to our taxpayers especially when roads schools and other projects of infrastructure are much more important. Nov 8, 2011
I would like to point out that this coal ash from powerplants is used for more than just waste. It is used on our highways by Modot and local communities as Cinders for the road mixed in with salt and spread on the roads to melt snow and give traction on icy areas and at stop signs for years. The coal ash at the powerplant in coffen illinois is where i have visited. The fiberglass/asphalt shingles on all our homes . All those little black rocks on your shingles is spent coal from powerplants ! Another thing it is used for is abrasive sandblasting. For bridge sandblasting to remove rust when the steel on bridges gets repainted. And they sell this product at tractor supply and other outlets for sandblast sand for use by the public for whatever people sandblast at home or farm use to sandblast to refinish farm equipment for repainting. It is sold as Black Magnum or black diamond in those farm supply stores. I use it in a small blast cabinet to remove rust from auto parts. A good thing to look into is to see what the cancer rate is at the powerplant and in coffeen illinois and similar sites to see what the cancer rate is for their employees. I`ve been there and trucks come and go constantly and all employees at this and similar facilities are exposed to the dust here because large sifting machines separate this material to size and a person stands at a hopper and fills these bags manually. I did not see the guy filling the bags with any repirater or breathing type dust mask when i was there. I`d like to know what cancer risk this may have because i use the Black diamond in my blast cabinet at home and when it`s used up i use it in winter to treat icey slick hills on the gravel road leading to my home. If there is an elevated rate of cancer at these processing plants then i would be concerned for my own health and stop using this product. Lucky officer was not hurt. If he would have used his radio and set up road blocks at little indian creek heading back to st. clair and radio contacted washington county to block little indian creek at richwoods the suspect would have to turned up because there are no other ways out of that area.
