Hey fathead or flathead, I am a trucker an owner operator and for your information I do pay my share try $3500.00 a year just for lic. on top of the fuel tax that is $.41 cpg I also pay at least $300.00 in IFTA tax every quarter plus $550.00 heavy highway tax so yes I think I pay more than my share, If you add it all up it comes to like $6500.00 a year. Its people like you is the reason there is no money to fix the road it is because of waistful spending by our goverment because you don't keep a watchful eye on what they do with our money so they spend it on projects like metrolink and railroads and junk like that, so do your home work before you point fingers.Feb 14, 2012
So now they want to put two roundabouts on a TRUCK ROUTE what in the world is wrong with our city officials have they lost all means of common sense. As an over the road truck driver I have personally negotiated these roundabouts and what I have seen with my own eyes is the inside curbing is constantly broken up by the trailer tires running on them and then you have a truck that is around 65 feet long trying to go around a left turn and cars trying to merge in with that truck and that has all the makings of an accident all over it.
With a truck driver as one of our alderman one would think he would say something about this after all he should know how much room it takes to operate a truck this size.Jun 22, 2011

And this is why you are no longer the Mayor and you lost the election for Senator you don't protect the people, a parking ticket is a miner offense where as a red light ticket is a major offense that can cause ones insurance to go up so if you lone your car to your friend and he runs a red light is it fair to you that your insurance goes up.
