I don't think it was only the heat that had a factor in low attendance. I didn't go with my family because it was way TOO EXPENSIVE! Who wants to pay that much just to wait in lines on a very hot day? Not me.10 months ago
We have a Veterans Memorial downtown by the Old Courthouse. We have a great city park with a wonderful swimming complex. I am not short sighted; I am smart enough to know in this economy we don't need to spend a large amount of money on something we DO NOT need! My kids played on those ball fields and it was just fine for them. Let's take care of what we have.
