Who decided that these farm/rural/properties needed to be annexed? As far as I can tell there is no advantage to the property owners to accept the annexation. Their properties may or may not be increased in value in the future,(there are no guarantees) but other than selling the property or refinancing it, I cannot see why they would want to pay more taxes , some for services they have no inkling of when they would be available to them. Reading their comments I can only conclude that some Realtor would like to start up yet another subdivision where a family farm is now located.May 16, 2012
