I will have to disagree with Todd. Hopewell Hill is dangerous. I have lived at the bottom of the hill for over 10 years. It is not the speed that is the problem is that the corners are to sharp for the 18 wheelers to make and they cross the center line into the path of another car and then that car either will get hit or go into the guardrail. And the gravel gets kicked up on the road from the 18 wheeler and then it makes it dangerous for the motorcycle driver that hits loose gravel and looses control. By living at the bottom of the hill and working for a neighboring ambulance district I am always going on the hill because of accidents and very rare are they because of speed. The speed is when they are going around the last corner and they are flying by my house at 80 mph at the bottom of the hill. There have had very bad accidents because of speed in front of my house. Majority of the accidents have happened on those two corners on the hill because of how sharp they are.7 months ago
