Even if one does not dispute the idea of you being an "advocate" or "defender" of the environment, you are opposed to the county's proposed changes to the zoning code which means you are an "opponent" and a "critic". Let's not be hypocritical or play with words. Sep 28, 2011
Mercy, Mercy, let's not jump the gun. I don't blame Patients First for exploring their options. Doesn't mean they will enter into any type of agreement with SSM but I believe it is in the best interest of the community of everyone to look into other opportunities. I'm sure that the hospital did just that before it changed to "Mercy". Sep 28, 2011
We know a lot more today about meth and it's chemicals than we did in 2002. The idiot who had the illegal product is responsible......case closed.Jun 16, 2011
glock40sw, there is accidental and there is intentional. It appears by your posting that you have knowledge of firearms and also law enforcement. So you should know that it is very easy, during this type of training, to ACCIDENTALLY have your finger on the trigger and ACCIDENTALLY discharge the weapon. But, I also know that it is not IMPOSSIBLE for the gun to have discharged without his finger being on the trigger.
And, even if he did break a "major firearm safety rule and had his finger on the trigger" it was still an accidental discharge. Jun 1, 2011
I'm reading that to mean that they have been waiting 2 years to go to court.Apr 18, 2011
Why do we waste money keeping a business open simply because some people can't get things done on time? If they can't have it done by 5pm on Friday, April 15th what makes anyone think they'll have it done by 8pm on Monday, April 18th? Waste of time and money!Apr 18, 2011
So, CardinalFan, what is it that you would want the St Clair police to do? Since you know the police "just blew it off without investigating anything" what is it that you would have wanted them to do? And how many hours do you want them to spend looking for a "suspecious" person who's only crime was refusing help? Boy, I find that real disturbing.Apr 18, 2011
WOW! How about if we teach our youth to #1 Don't break the law by drinking when you're under age, #2 Don't have parties and have others who are under age drinking, and #3 If the police show up DON'T RUN!
Sounds to me like the police were just doing what they should - responding to a report of someone breaking the law. From there this young man's destiny was in his own hands. Unfortunately, youth don't always make the right decisions and that cost him his life.
But don't blame the police. If you do, you are part of the problem. Mar 16, 2011
Very selfish! Such a small, simple thing that could certainly save your family a lot of grief. The family that will have to plan your funeral. Just my $.02.Feb 28, 2011
If the paperwork wasn't filed, then is the "transfer" actually legal? I bet if someone had found gold in that road Warren Co would be claiming it.Feb 17, 2011
