To the original poster: If Obama isn't to blame about gas prices, then BUSH ISN'T EITHER. Do YOU remember that Democrats took over the Congress in 2007, which is when the deficit really started going up?
At bsmn325: Again with the race card? Really? I don't care if the president is purple with blue polka dots, he DOES affect gas prices with his policies - ie, denying drilling lease renewals, shutting down refineries, etc. He wants green energy and he's willing to bankrupt the US to do it, since the prices for such are seldom in reach of the average citizen.
Greedy white men? Who is the racist now? The federal government is the greedy party. Do you realize the oil companies are being FINED for not using a certain additive in their refining process, despite the fact that additive DOESN'T EXIST outside of a laboratory??
