The people on State St would like to no when they are going to finish our street, People around here does not know how to read. the street sign says street not thur or dead end. and they still fly up our street. i'm a home owner and i'm getting tired of all the people using my driveway for a turn around, they are knocking down my retaining wall who will be responsible for that. surely not the city. i agree with Bill, there is alot of big trucks that use Independence. when we have snow it is hard for them to get up the street or stop coming down. i have set and watched them. now with the roundabout u don't think that is going to make a lot of problems. i see it all happening now and can't wait to say told u so.10 months ago
no one every went around the neighborhood on State st to see what the people thought about cutting us off. i think the roundabout is a joke. the kids coming from school couldn't even stop at a red light so now they will be able to go when ever they want. I look to see more wrecks now, then i had before i have lived on the corner of state at the end for 4 yrs and i have seen 2 wrecks. i'm going to start counting them now when this is done. 10 months ago
i would like to no when the vote came up to vote on the roundabout on main and independence.and for state street to be closed. it's a waste of money. money was spent to put in side walks that are being torn out now so a roundabout can be put in. i live on the corner of state and independence. Can't the mayor of union find some other way of spending tax dollars besides messing up our streets. how many wreck do u really think this is going to stop. If our police would keep a better eye on the kids coming out of the school and the speeding we wouldn't have any wrecks. and the trucks that go through here. it's hard enough when it snows for them to get up the hill at the lights what do u think is going to happen with the roundabout. i think the Mayor and city official should had though a little harder about this improvement. the people on state is going to be getting tired of people turning around in their drive ways, because i'm going to be one of them. my no trespassing sign goes up this week end so the police of union better be ready.12 months ago
