How can a person know enought about the Curriculum of a school and know enough about the maintaince side? If its ok to combine the two now have we had to many different positions to begin with? Or is this his way of "creating'' a position without really "creating" it? Urgency??? Really? Did they just realize these people will not be in those positions next year? No they knew they were moving on so why wait till now? This seems like he is just rushing things to try and slip it through so people dont have time to really think about it. I know nothing about how to run the school, but i have an opinion and i think this just seems shady. I guess we will see where the next Maintenance/Curriculum person is from, and see if my original thought was correct and Mr. Bryant had a friend who needed a job....

Is the district not on a pay raise/hiring freeze? They can make a new position but not afford to pay the teachers as much as surrounding districts? They were just discussing this on KLPW the other day how Union has higher scores than other districts and those teachers are paid higher. Why is this position even needed?
