Busch Carries

The Washington Blue Jays needed a fourth-down stop deep in its own territory to hold off visiting Warrenton on Friday night. The Blue Jays defense rose to the challenge, deflecting a pass out of bounds to improve to 2-1 on the season.

Nate Busch ran for two touchdowns for Washington while Nolan Chmiel scored twice for Warrenton.

Washington also defeated Pacific and lost to Seckman. The Blue Jays are 2-0 at home.

Warrenton fell to 0-3 on the season, also losing to Wentzville Liberty and Troy.
