Sinnott Returns

PACIFIC — Picking up where it left off last season, the St. Francis Borgia football Knights rolled to a season-opening win at Pacific Friday, 42-6.
Borgia scored its first two touchdowns on defense, getting a 10-yard interception return by Matthew Sinnott and a 29-yard fumble return by Joe Schmidt.
In the second quarter, the Knights scored four rushing touchdowns with Tyler Stieffermann, Louie Eckelkamp, Cole Meyer and Alonzo MacDonald all finding the end zone.
Borgia took advantage of Pacific turnovers and had a short field for much of the night.
Borgia hosts Union next Friday while Pacific visits Washington.
Pacific scored on the final play of the game to break up the shutout.
