Ending the regular season on the road, the Union Swim Team Squids fell Tuesday at Royal Acres, 342-150.

Both teams are headed to the Gateway Swimming and Diving League Spitz Division championship meet, to be held at JCC-West starting Sunday at 9:15 a.m. for all age groups.

In Tuesday’s dual meet, the first races were in the individual medley event.

Union’s winners were Aidan Garlock and Andrew Haberberger.

Ariel Reynolds finished second.

Union’s third-place swimmers were William Weber, Gisele Bolzenius, Connor Smith, Lillian Schmieder and Grant Smith.

Moving to the freestyle races, Union’s winners in scoring heats were Kenendy Melton, Edward Weber and Carter Smith.

Moving to the breaststroke, Union’s winners were Camden Gruebel, Edward Weber, Fischer Hayes, William Weber and Andrew Haberberger.

In the freestyle relay races, Union won the 6-Under boys, 9-10 girls and 11-12 girls heats.

Shifting to the backstroke event, Union’s winners were Kennedy Melton, Edward Weber, Mackenzy Broeker, Aidan Garlock and Mason Rossi.

In the butterfly event, Union’s winners were Aidan Garlock and Andrew Haberberger.

In the medley relay races, Royal Acres won all heats.
