Pacific plays first at the Ozark Mountain Shootout.
The sixth annual event, held at Glendale, will be kicked off by the 3-1 Indians. Pacific will take on Kickapoo (1-1) at 5 p.m. Friday.
The Chiefs, a 25-5 team and a state semifinalist in Class 5 last season, defeated Parkview at the Arvest Classic to open the season, but then lost to Fayetteville (Ark.), 75-62.
The shootout will consist of 12 games, four on Friday and eight on Saturday.
In addition to the opening game, Confluence will play Nixa Friday, Glendale will take on Jackson Provine (Miss.) and Blue Valley Northwest (Kan.) will match up against Ozark.
Saturday’s action begins at 9 a.m. with Perryville (Ark.) taking on Purdy.
Other games in the shootut include Eminence against Clever, Republic against Forsyth, Jackson Provine (Miss.) against Bentonville (Ark.), Springfield Catholic against Confluence, Blue Valley Northwest (Kan.) versus Hazelwood Central, Glendale versus Rock Bridge and Willard against Kirkwood.
