For the fifth time since 2010, the McCluer North Stars captured the St. Francis Borgia Pepsi Thanksgiving Tournament title.
McCluer North, the third seed, edged Pacific Saturday, 59-52.
The Stars led the top-seeded Indians 10-9 after one quarter and 21-16 at the half. Pacific led 37-35 going into the fourth quarter.
Tournament MVP A'Tavian Butler scored 10 of his team-high 18 points in the fourth quarter.
The Stars also placed Patrick Evans and Steve Lee on the all-tournament team.
Pacific's all-tournament team representatives were Cameron VanLeer and Tom Hennessy.
In the third-place game, Borgia rolled past the St. Louis Christian Blue team, 71-41.
Borgia was represented on the all-tournament team by Jacob Unnerstall and Eli Marquart. Charles Rahming represented St. Louis Christian, which also claimed the sportsmanship award.
In the consolation game, Washington edged Normandy in overtime, 50-46. Cason Suggs represented the Blue Jays on the all-tournament team and Britt Booker was selected from Normandy.
North Tech defeated the St. Louis Homeschool Blue Knights for seventh place to start Saturday's action, 58-50. Maurice Willis represented North Tech on the all-tournament team while Patrick Baalman was selected from the Blue Knights.
