Connor Light was the big winner at the garden tractor pull Friday at the Washington Town and Country Fair.

Light won both classes of competition at the Motor Sports Arena.

In Class 1, Light took first place with a pull of 232.18 feet on his Cub Cadet.

Caitlyn Sullivan finished second with a pull of 151.26 feet and Ethan Boland took third with a pull of 142.71 feet. Brandon Kloppe finished fourth (138.94), Ryan Kassebaum was fifth (123.53) and Eric Steinberg took sixth (121.80). Dalton Sammet (44.56) and Michael Carter (24.84) finished seventh and eighth, respectively.

Class 1 participants were age 16 and under with a factory stock motor up to 20 horsepower and 1,150 pounds.

Light also took first place in Class 2 with a pull of 143.13 feet.

Steinberg finished second with a pull of 125.75 feet and Emily Brinkmann finished third with a pull of 119.90 feet. Clayton Glastetter finished fourth (104.00), Zach Jasper took fifth (93.91) and Dylan Boland was sixth (91.42). Lucy Urban took seventh (90.15), while Austin Jasper was eighth (29.29).

Class 2 participants were 16 and under with a tractor up to 8 horsepower and 1,000 pounds.
