Cole Weber scored 18 points and Alex Brinkmann added 15 as the Borgia Knights won the 66th Annual St. Francis Borgia Pepsi Thanksgiving Boys Basketball Tournament over Pacific Saturday night.
The Knights won a low-scoring game over the Indians, 49-37.
The game came a night after both teams won overtime games in the semifinals. Borgia beat Normandy in overtime on Trent Strubberg's half-court shot at the buzzer while Pacific prevailed in double overtime over Ft. Zumwalt North.
In the third-place game, Ft. Zumwalt North defeated Normandy, 69-64.
The third overtime game in two days at the tournament went to the Union Wildcats over the Washington Blue Jays in the consolation game. The two teams play again Tuesday in Union.
And, the Owensville Dutchmen won the seventh-place game over North Tech, 72-65.
Strubberg, who hit the game-tying and game-winning shots against Normandy, was named the MVP.
Borgia's Brendan Smith and Cole Weber also made the all-tournament team.
Pacific's representatives were Don'TA Harris and Jordan Cowsert.
Ft. Zumwalt North was represented by Grant Rapplean and Kyle Bampton.
The rest of the all-tournament team consisted of Normandy's Terron Robinson, Union's Trevor Kelly, Washington's Alec Brinkmann, Owensville's Trevor Abernathy and North Tech's Dressel Huston.
