It wasn’t a full meet.
But it was a win.
The Union Swim Team Squids picked up a 180-120 victory Monday at Arbor Oaks in the Gateway Swimming and Diving League Janet Evans Division opener.
“The swim meet was wonderful,” Union Head Coach Lisa Mooney. “We only made it halfway through the meet because of the weather. The kids were champions on sticking with it until we got to the point where we could conclude the meet because we made it halfway through. The kids did a great job for the weather conditions. All in all, it went really well.”
Union comes home next Monday to host Pacific in a league meet starting at 6 p.m.
