Sullivan’s first inning proved to be just a little better than Union’s seventh Monday in Four Rivers Conference baseball action.

The host Eagles scored four times in the bottom of the first inning. Union came back with three runs in the top of the seventh, but it wasn’t enough.

Joey Lochner earned the win for the Eagles.

Sullivan had four hits in the game, but information was not available about Sullivan’s offense as of press time.

Union had four hits as well.

Dillen Myers doubled while Devon Fennessey, Jordan Weaks and Andrew Lenau hit singles.

Fennessey, Weaks and Aldwin Fleer scored runs.

Myers drove home two and Lenau contributed the other RBI.

Myers and Drew Juengel walked. Fleer stole a base.

Weaks went the distance on the hill for the Wildcats, allowing four runs on four hits and three walks. He struck out four.
