Ronnie Suggs and Luke Schroepfer represented Washington High School on the Gateway Athletic Conference Central Division all-conference boys basketball team.

The league’s head coaches made first- and second-team selections.

Suggs, a 6-5 junior guard, was named to the first team. He averaged 16.8 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.

Schroepfer, a 6-3 senior guard, was a second-team selection. He averaged 13.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per contest.

Joining Suggs on the GAC Central first team were Ft. Zumwalt North junior Chaz Glotta, Ft. Zumwalt North sophomore Zach Glotta, Ft. Zumwalt East senior Logan Coburn and Ft. Zumwalt South sophomore Preston Whitfield.

Named to the second team with Schroepfer were Ft. Zumwalt North senior Aaron Hauser, Ft. Zumwalt North sophomore Kris McCann, Ft. Zumwalt South junior Matt Galvin and Holt senior Tyler Shelton.

Jared Walde represented Washington on the GAC Central sportsmanship team.

Washington players named to the GAC Central all-academic team were Brad Carpenter, Cory Epperson, Christian Hardesty, Luke Hasenjaeger, Jacob Mulkey, Austin Subke, Cole Schroepfer, Luke Schroepfer, Suggs and Walde.

Ft. Zumwalt North won the GAC Central title with an 8-0 record.

Ft. Zumwalt South finished second at 6-2 followed by Washington at 4-4, Ft. Zumwalt East at 1-7 and Holt at 1-7.
