Class 3-4 State Track Meet Runs in Jefferson City

Area athletes will compete Friday and Saturday at the MSHSAA Class 3-4 track and field championships at Lincoln University in Jefferson City.

Both days begin with field events at 11 a.m. followed by track events at noon.

The top eight finishers in each event earn all-state medals.

Class 4

Washington’s Kirstie Leslie will compete in four girls events.

Leslie begins the weekend with the pole vault Friday at 11 a.m. She then competes in the long jump Friday at 2 p.m.

The Lady Jays’ 400-meter relay team of Leslie, MC Landolt, Lauren Brinkmann and Emily Stricker runs in the preliminaries Friday at 2:50 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 1:45 p.m.

Leslie then competes in the triple jump Saturday at 2 p.m.

Landolt competes in two other events. She runs in Friday’s preliminaries of the 100-meter dash at 1:10 p.m. and the 200-meter dash at 5:05 p.m. The finals are Saturday with the 100-meter dash at 12:50 p.m. and the 200-meter dash at 3:05 p.m.

Jenna Haas competes in the high jump Saturday at 11 a.m.

Representing Washington’s boys is Brenden Leslie, who runs in the preliminaries of the 110-meter high hurdles Friday at 12:50 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 12:40 p.m.

Class 3 Boys

St. Clair — Rickey Grivetti competes in three state events. He runs in the 100-dash preliminaries Friday at 1:20 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 1 p.m.

The Bulldogs’ 800-meter relay team of Grivetti, Spencer Crumbaugh, Jonathon Benkert and Terrance Stahlman run in Friday’s preliminaries at 2:05 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 1:20 p.m.

Grivetti then runs in the 200-meter dash preliminaries Friday at 5:15 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 3:15 p.m.

Crumbaugh also competes in the long jump Friday at 11 a.m.

Union — Ryan Schumaker competes in the long jump Friday at 11 a.m.

The 1,600-meter relay team of Logan Bellamy, Drew Graham, Dustin Longsdon and Jordan Nowak runs in the preliminaries Friday at 6:30 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 4:10 p.m.

Pacific — Dan Dieckmann participates in two state events. He competes the high jump Friday at 2 p.m.

The 3,200-meter relay team of Isaiah Hudson, Tristan Moore, Joon Kim and Dieckmann runs Saturday at noon.

Owensville — Trevor Nicks competes in the shot put Friday at 11 a.m. and the discus Saturday at 2 p.m.

Devon Dowler runs in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles preliminaries Friday at 4:10 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 2:35 p.m.

Sullivan — Chris Erxleben competes in the 800-meter run preliminaries Friday at 4:45 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 2:55 p.m.

Class 3 Girls

Union — Janna Ruether competes in four state events, including three relays.

Leading off is the 3,200-meter relay team of Ruether, Abbie Brack, Taylor Lavalle and Hannah Candrl running Friday at noon.

The 800-meter relay team of Ruether, Ali Overstreet, Alyssa Pate and Amber Tharp run in the preliminaries Friday at 1:35 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 1:10 p.m.

Ruether then competes in the 400-meter dash preliminaries Friday at 3:20 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 2:05 p.m.

The Lady ’Cats 1,600-meter relay team of Ruether, Lavalle, Tharp and Anna Houston runs in the preliminaries Friday at 6 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 3:55 p.m.

Houston also runs in both hurdle events.

The preliminaries of the 100-meter high hurdles are Friday at 12:30 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 12:30 p.m.

The preliminaries of the of the 300-meter low hurdles are Friday at 3:55 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 2:25 p.m.

St. Clair — Olesya Stadnichuk and Emily Presley both compete in three state events.

Stadnichuk runs in the preliminaries of the 100-meter high hurdles Friday at 12:30 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 12:30 p.m.

The 800-meter relay team of Keighlee Grable, Lyndsay Hardin, Presley and Stadnichuk runs in the preliminaries Friday at 1:35 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 1:10 p.m.

The 400-meter relay team of Amanda Presley, Emily Presley, Grable and Stadnichuk runs in the preliminaries Friday at 2:50 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 1:45 p.m.

Emily Presley competes in the pole vault Saturday at 11 a.m.

Alicia York competes in the discus Saturday at 11 a.m.

Borgia — Emily Grahl participates in two state events.

Grahl competes in the 800-meter run preliminaries Friday at 4:25 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 2:45 p.m. She also competes in the 1,600-meter run Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

Sullivan — Natalie Schriever competes in four state events.

The 3,200-meter relay team of Megan Brandt, Victoria Dace, Dana Schatz and Schriever runs Friday at noon.

The 800-meter relay team of Megan Andreasson, Madie Bartle, Schatz and Schriever competes in the preliminaries Friday at 1:35 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 1:10 p.m.

Schriever runs in the preliminaries of the 300-meter low hurdles Friday at 3:55 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 2:25 p.m.

The 1,600-meter relay team of Brianna Winistoerfer, Andreasson, Schatz and Schriever runs Friday at 6 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 3:55 p.m.

Owensville — Emily Ellis competes in two state events.

The 3,200-meter relay team of Kayla Charboneau, Hannah Baehr, Hailey Diestelkamp and Ellis runs Friday at noon.

Ellis competes in the 800-meter run preliminaries Friday at 4:25 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 2:45 p.m.

Katie Gregor competes in the shot put Friday at 2 p.m.

St. James — Shelby Ridenhour competes in three state events.

Ridenhour runs in the 100-meter dash preliminaries Friday at 1:10 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 12:50 p.m. She then competes in the 200-meter dash preliminaries Friday at 5:05 p.m. The finals are Saturday at 3:05 p.m.

Ridenhour also competes in the long jump Saturday at 2 p.m.
