Borgia will be playing for girls and boys basketball championships at home Saturday.

The Class 4 District 9 championship games are set for Saturday at the Ray DeGreeff Memorial Gymnasium. The girls game will start at 6 p.m. with the boys game following at 7:30 p.m.

The Borgia girls, the tournament's top seed, will take on Sullivan in the first contest of the night. The winner will advance to the sectional game at Missouri S&T in Rolla Wednesday at 6 p.m. against Marshfield.

The boys game will feature top-seeded Pacific against second-seeded Borgia at 7:30 p.m.

Pacific won its semifinal game Friday night over St. Clair, 53-49. Borgia defeated Sullivan, 55-45.

Saturday's game will be the third meeting between the two teams. The first two went to overtime with each team winning once.

The district winner will take on the Hillcrest-Marshfield winner (game is being played Saturday afternoon) Wednesday at Missouri S&T in Rolla around 7:30 p.m.
