St. Clair split a three-team wrestling meet Wednesday at home.

The Bulldogs defeated Winfield 45-15 and lost to St. James in a Four Rivers Conference meet, 42-36.

St. James defeated Winfield, 48-18.

“We wrestled hard. We are pretty banged up right now, nothing too serious, but this holiday break couldn’t come at a better time for us. Our kids need to get healthy,” said St. Clair Head Coach Brent Yule. “The guys we did have wrestling did a great job stepping up and replacing some of our every day starters. We still have a long way to go with our wrestlers.”
