Dominating the Illinois Justice for the third time this season (48-6), the Missouri Cyclones have advanced to the GMFL Gateway Division semifinals.
And the reward?
Another date with the team which had dominated them this season, the Midwest Chargers.
The Cyclones (8-3) will visit the Chargers (8-2) at Mehlville High School Saturday at 5 p.m. Admission for adults is $7 while children 12 and under will be admitted free.
While the Cyclones dominated the Justice this season (23-6, 29-8 and 48-6), the Chargers have held the same advantage over the Cyclones.
In the first meeting of the season at Borgia, the Chargers dominated a 27-7 victory.
In the game at Mehlville, the Chargers still controlled the game, but it was closer, 30-16.
If you were looking to find the Cyclones-Justice game locally, you were out of luck.
The Cyclones moved their Saturday game from Borgia to Brown Road Park in St. Peters. Different reasons have been put forward, but nothing was confirmed.
Additional information about the game was not available as of press time Tuesday.
