Scott Suggs and the Milwaukee Bucks are off to a 2-1 start in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

The Bucks opened last Saturday with an 88-74 victory over the Denver Nuggets.

Suggs, a 2008 graduate of Washington High School, played 18 minutes in the Denver game. He finished with 10 points, two rebounds and two blocked shots. He was 4-7 shooting from the field, including 2-2 from three-point range.

Milwaukee played its second game last Sunday, recording a 69-61 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.

Suggs, a 6-6 guard, played 12 minutes in the game. He scored two points on 1-3 shooting from the field.

The Bucks lost their first game of the summer Tuesday against the Golden State Warriors, 84-72.

Suggs played 13 minutes against the Warriors, finishing with one rebound. He was 0-2 shooting from the field.

Every team in the league is guaranteed at least five games.

Milwaukee is seeded ninth play for the playoffs and open against the eighth-seeded Los Angeles Lakers in the opening round Thursday, July 18, at 3:30 p.m. central time.
