Continuing a longtime rivalry with Royal Acres Monday at home, the Pacific Swim Team fell to its Gateway Swimming and Diving Conference opponent, 273-238.

“Royal Acres is such a good team,” said Pacific Head Coach Hart Hillhouse. “They have really good swimmers who swim year round. I’m really happy we were close at the end of the meet. If we can get a couple seconds faster in a couple of events we could end up winning that meet. Our swimmers keep improving their times and we are having fun. I hope we can continue that through the last few weeks.”

Pacific returns to action Monday with a road meet at Lake of the Woods. Pacific’s final dual meet of the season will be at home July 9. Both meets start at 6 p.m.
