Competing at the Simpson Relays last Friday at Farmington High School, Pacific’s boys (33 points) finished ninth out of 18 teams and the girls (14 points) were 14th out of 16 teams.

Festus claimed the girls team crown with 86 points. The top five teams were Jackson (79.5), Hillsboro (73), De Soto (66) and Farmington (63).

Fox captured the boys team title with 109 points. The top five teams were Hillsboro (104), Jackson (70), Poplar Bluff (64) and Farmington (49).

The top eight finishers in each event earned team points.

Indians

Jeffrey Hinkle finished third in the 200-meter dash in 23.91 and sixth in the 100-meter dash in 11.7.

Ryan Lause was fourth in the high jump at 5-8.

The 1,600-meter relay team of Danny Dieckmann, Isaiah Hudson, Andrew Cooper and Joon Kim placed fourth in 3:39.69.

The 3,200-meter relay team of Justin Meeker, Tristan Moore, Joon Kim and Dieckmann was fifth in 8:39.

Doug Bequette finished sixth in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles in 44.88.

The 800-meter relay team of Kelvin Klenke, Justin Moyle, Tyler Miller and Hinkle ended sixth in 1:39.12.

The 400-meter relay team of Ashton Moore, Miller, Moyle and Hinkle was seventh in 47.45.

Kim was eighth in the 1,600-meter run in 4:56.

Dieckmann finished eighth in the high jump at 5-6.

Lady Indians

Shannon Hamilton placed fourth in the 200-meter dash in 28.15.

Madison Livell finished fourth in the high jump at 4-10.

The 3,200-meter relay team of Allyson Armstrong, Kashmir Curtner, Tori LaRose and Hannah Graf placed sixth in 11:03.

Curtner placed eighth in the 100-meter dash in 13.79.
