Starting the second round of Four Rivers Conference games, the Union soccer Lady ’Cats stayed perfect in the league Monday with a 5-0 home win over Sullivan.

Union (15-2, 5-0) scored three times in the first half and twice in the second half. Sullivan fell to 4-7-2 overall and 2-5 in league games.

Freshman Bethany Coons scored twice while senior Brittany Faber, sophomore Kaila AuBuchon and sophomore Kayla Thornton scored one goal apiece.

Faber added two assists while Coons, senior Brooke Breeden and junior Alyssa Coons each posted one assist.

Junior Briana Lakebrink made three saves in net to record the shutout.

Union’s final game of the regular season, Thursday, May 10, will be used as the Pacific Tournament championship game.
