IMPERIAL — Wrong time, wrong place.

Fresh off its first loss of the season, the Windsor girls soccer Lady Owls took out their frustrations against Pacific in the third-place game of the Windsor Tournament Thursday, 8-1.

“Windsor played very well,” said Pacific Head Coach Sarah Schultz. “They moved the ball and took advantage of every mistake we made.”

Cheyenne Jennings scored the Pacific goal.

However, Windsor led from almost the start of the game after an early goal and soon pulled away, leading 5-1 at the half.

“We’ve got to learn to come to play no matter the circumstances,” Schultz said. “We’re still learning our formation and getting into the right positions and picking up our marks. We need to look forward and work together.”

Sydney Drysdale played the first 60 minutes in goal. Dae Leach finished out the game.

Hunter Kelemen was named to the all-tournament team for Pacific.

Windsor was represented on the all-tournament team by Breanna Sitzes.
