Seckman Tournament
For the third consecutive season, the Pacific Lady Indians won the championship of the Seckman Holiday Basketball Tournament.
The top-seeded Lady Indians (7-3) knocked off second-seeded Lindbergh Friday in the title contest, 49-40.
Named to the all-tournament team for the Lady Indians were Ashley Hill, Kya Hill and Lizzy Almo.
Meramec Tournament
Playing at the Meramec Holiday Tournament, fourth-seeded Washington registered a 40-38 victory over 12th-seeded Marquette Friday in the quarterfinals.
The Blue Jays (9-2) will play top-seeded CBC in the semifinals Saturday at 7 p.m.
The championship game is Sunday at 7 p.m. The third-place contest is Sunday at 5:15 p.m.
Ronnie Suggs scored 17 points for the Blue Jays against Marquette. Luke Schroepfer added 13 points, all in the second half.
With Marquette leading 38-37, Schroepfer put Washington ahead for good on a three-pointer with 1:02 left to play in the fourth quarter, making the score 40-38.
The Mustangs had an open three-point attempt for the win as time ran out, but missed the shot.
Rolla Tournament
The fourth-seeded St. Clair Lady Bulldogs lost to top-seeded Hickman Friday in the semifinals of the Rolla Tournament, 57-13.
St. Clair will play in the third-place contest Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
Lindbergh Wrestling Tournament
Washington finished second in the team standings Thursday and Friday at the Lindbergh Wrestling Tournament.
The Blue Jays had nine medalists, including one champion and five runner-ups.
Kyle Summers was Washington’s lone individual champion.
