Six members of the Washington High School varsity girls soccer team were named to the GAC North all-conference squad.
The league’s coaches selected first, second and honorable mention teams.
Washington had one first-team player, two second-team picks and three honorable mention selections.
Named to the first team was senior defender Hannah Overschmidt.
Second-team players were sophomore forward Halee Nurnberger and junior defender Taylor Andrews.
Selected to the honorable mention squad were senior goalie Andrea Bourne, senior defender Brittany Monroig and junior midfielder Liz Brinkmann.
Ft. Zumwalt South sophomore forward Bridget Stewart was named the GAC North player of the year.
First Team
•Forwards — Ft. Zumwalt South’s Bridget Stewart, Ft. Zumwalt East’s Riley Kerr and Ft. Zumwalt South’s Taylor Wade.
•Midfielders — Ft. Zumwalt East’s Jessica Seiler, Ft. Zumwalt South’s Shannon Stewart, Ft. Zumwalt North’s Amanda Wiechens and Duchesne’s Lauren Joston.
•Defenders — Washington’s Hannah Overschmidt, Ft. Zumwalt East’s Jenny Krug, Ft. Zumwalt South’s Jordan Meier and St. Charles’ Erika Teson.
•Goalie — Ft. Zumwalt East’s Jordan Gnolfo.

•Forwards — Washington’s Halee Nurnberger, Ft. Zumwalt North’s Cassidy Menke and Duchesne’s Bridgitte Reilly.

Ft. Zumwalt East and Ft. Zumwalt South shared the GAC North title with 6-1 records. Washington finished third at 4-3.
Representing Washington the GAC North academic team were Anneliese Baer, Jenna Barnhart, Andrea Bourne, Liz Brinkmann, Arika Elliott, Abbey Martin, Brittany Monroig, Martha Noelker, Halee Nurnberger, Hannah Overschmidt, Brianna Pagan, Salena Pottebaum, Savannah Thibault and Sierra Thibault.
Anneliese Baer was named to the GAC North sportsmanship team.
