With two more Four Rivers Conference volleyball victories, Pacific remained unbeaten in the league, setting up a showdown next week.

The Lady Indians (20-6-1, 6-0) travel to Hermann (21-9, 6-0) with the FRC title on the line Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.

“We’re looking forward to traveling to Hermann Tuesday for the conference championship,” said Pacific Head Coach Janel Brown. It’s not going to be an easy night. We need to really use our next two days of practice to prepare for Hermann’s offensive weapons.”

Pacific-St. Clair

Pacific won Thursday at home over St. Clair, 25-7, 25-15.

“It was senior night and emotions were running high. We started a little slow, but we ended very strong,” said Brown. “Allyson Armstrong finished the first game with 12 straight service points and seven aces. It was her best serving game of the season.”

Ashley Hill smashed seven kills for the Lady Indians.

Brown said Hill, Kersten McDonough and Emily Weaver led Pacific in kills. Jackie Dann joined Armstrong as the serving leaders.

“Because of the strong serving, we weren’t seeing much over the net. The girls did a good job of staying focused during the match,” Brown said. “We had strong kills by Kersten and Emily in the second game to help us find our groove. Abby Spuhl made good setting decisions and put the ball in the right person’s hands. Ashley had one of her better games at the net. All of the seniors played very well, considering it was their last regular season game at home.”

Sam Deason had four kills and one block for St. Clair. Kayla Klenke added three kills and one block. Macy Levvintre had three digs. Sharon Wagner had two digs. Emily Rogers had eight assists.

"It was Pacific's senior night. They have a nice group of girls. Their setter (Spuhl) is very good," said St. Clair Head Coach Ashley Mims. "Sam Deason, Kayla Klenke, and Allison Hinson were consistent."

Pacific-St. James

Pacific cruised to a win Tuesday at St. James, 25-12, 25-19.

Kersten McDonough finished the match 12 kills, two assists and one block.

Emily Weaver added six kills, two blocks and one ace.

Abby Spuhl collected 19 assists, four kills and two aces.

Ashley Hill registered three kills, two blocks and two aces.

Allyson Armstrong recorded two kills, one block and one ace.

Jackie Dann finished with two aces, one kill, one block and one assist.

St. Clair-New Haven

St. Clair (5-18-1, 1-5) had its home match Tuesday against New Haven come down to the wire with the Lady Shamrocks prevailing, 25-16, 20-25, 25-23.

In the third and deciding game, the Lady Bulldogs rallied from a 24-16 deficit to make the score 24-23 before New Haven escaped with the win.

“We came out slow in the first set, but came back in the second and third sets and played like we did at the (St. Clair) tournament,” said Mims.

Sam Deason finished with six kills and three blocks. Macy Levvintre smashed four kills.

Emily Rogers collected 11 assists. Kayla Klenke had four blocks. Sharon Wagner added three digs.

Rachel Steinhoff registered 10 kills and one block for New Haven. Kelsey Pecaut added seven kills and one ace.

Taylor Covington added six kills and two blocks. Katie Peirick had five kills. Kayla Meyer collected 13 assists.

New Haven (17-9, 4-2) also won Thursday over Owensville.
