Just as they did at the Archdiocesan Athletic Association meet, Borgia’s Alex Buschman and Lutheran St. Charles’ Justin Wrozier tied on the golf course Thursday.

Playing at Bogey Hills, each shot 37 to card the lowest scores in the meet. However, unlike the league tournament, there was no scorecard playoff this time and the two shared meet medalist honors.

And Buschman’s Borgia teammates captured the varsity dual meet, 204-231.

Finishing one stroke off the lead was Bryce Dolan, who shot 38. The Knights received rounds of 40 from Clayton Voss and Alex Rennick. Alex McClure shot 49 and Josh Kleekamp ended at 47.

In the JV meet, Borgia won with a round of 152 to Lutheran St. Charles’ 178.

Borgia’s Andrew Timpe and Michael Matthews tied for medalist honors with rounds of 50. Parker DuMontier shot 52 while Austin Schroeder ended at 54.
