Sullivan took top team honors at the St. James Golf Tournament Wednesday, April 10, at St. James Golf Club.

The Eagles had five of the top six individual scores to win the eight-school event with a team mark of 306.

St. James finished second with 349 followed by Pacific with 355, Owensville with 366, St. Clair with 368, Hermann with 379, Union with 384 and Salem with 386.

Carding the top individual score was Sullivan’s Drew Armstrong, who fired an 18-hole round of 72.

Hermann’s Austin Ruediger finished second with 75. Sullivan’s Tylor Carrico was third with 77.

Rounding out the top 10 medalists were Sullivan’s Justin Biermann with 78, Sullivan’s Ryan Juergens with 79, Sullivan’s Gavin Yociss with 80, St. Clair’s Brandon York with 84, St. James’ Jake Shockley with 85, St. James’ Jack Mueller with 85 and St. James’ Colin Hayes with 85.

St. James’ two other golfers were Levi Auxier with 94 and Chris Stull with 96.

Pacific was led by Brendan Jett-Kell, who posted a score of 86.

Also playing for Pacific were Tyler McDonald with 87, Logan Armstrong with 91, Charlie Brinker with 91 and Michael Stinson with 97.

Representing Owensville in the event were Zane West with 86, Doug Hudnall with 87, Blake Mehrhoff with 95, Dustin Nicks with 98 and Tanner Jackson with 106.

Joining York on the course for St. Clair were Matt Gordon with 90, Kyle Juergens with 97, Colbie Viessman with 97 and Ryan Cheatham with 104.

Hermann’s golfers, in addition to Ruediger, were Ryan Bulinski with 90, Dillon Raterman with 104, Zach Cole with 110 and Charlee Page with 114.

Union was led by Hinako Kishimoto, who carded a round of 87.

Also playing for the Wildcats were Brennan Higgins with 94, Jobie Richardson with 98, Alex Gaebe with 105 and Cody Wissmann with 122.

Salem’s golfers were Alan Benowitz with 90, Hayden Major with 93, Zach Elliott with 98, Dalton Enloe with 105 and Wes Rushing with 111.
