Borgia Track Competes at Troy Relays

Competing at the Troy Relays, Borgia had three winners in the girls meet.

Junior Katie Eime won both the long jump and the triple jump titles.

She went 15-2.25 to win the long jump and 30-4.5 to take the triple jump.

Eime also placed second in the high jump, clearing 4-8.

Junior Baylee Godat won the 100-meter high hurdles in a time of 18.66. She also placed third in the 300-meter low hurdles in 52.88.

Senior Katie Lindemann placed third in the shot put and sixth in the discus. In the shot put, she threw 32-4.75. She had a throw of 96-4 in the discus.

Junior Taylor Nadler ran third in the 200-meter dash in 29.26 and fifth in the 400-meter dash in 1:06.64.

Junior Ashton Dietrich placed third in the 800-meter run in 2:39.47.

Sophomore Claire Korba ended fourth in the pole vault by clearing 6-6.

Borgia had two relay teams place fourth.

On the boys side, Borgia’s top finishers were freshman Grant Broeder and junior Cameron Rolf.

Broeder took second in the triple jump with a distance of 37-1.5.

Rolf was second in the 400-meter dash in 54.34.

Senior Luke Schriewer was third in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:11.24.

Freshman Matt Eggert cleared 5-4 to place third in the high jump. Sophomore Brandon Guehne was fourth in the same event, also clearing 5-4.

Borgia’s 800-meter relay team of Eggert, Ben Meyer, Wil Schriewer and Luke Schriewer was third.

in 1:40.82.

Sophomore Joe Tochtrop took fourth in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles in 47.13.

Senior Casey Kuchem took fourth in the discus with a throw of 118-11.5.
