The drive was rainy throughout much of the way. The team ate sandwiches on the bus and stopped in Beloit, Wis., for an evening meal. The team arrived at the Chula Vista Resort around 11 p.m. After a short team meeting, the team turned in for the night.

On Wednesday, the team went to breakfast at IHOP in Wisconsin Dells, where two other teams were dining at the same time. Hagerstown, Md., was there when the team arrived and Parkland, East Central's first-round opponent, arrived while East Central was eating.

Also at breakfast, Head Coach Brad Bruns was interviewed on phone by John Covington of KLPW.

The team's 55-minute practice session will start at 2 p.m. this afternoon. The players are in study hall late Wednesday morning and will travel to the play site, the Wisconsin Dells Center, after 1 p.m.

Update 5:45 p.m.

The team had a productive 55-minute practice at the Wisconsin Dells Center Wednesday afternoon. The practice allowed the players a chance to get used to the conditions in the bubble.

After returning, the team received its packet of credentials, meal plans and other information. The team currently is preparing for the banquet, which will start at 7 p.m. Coach Bruns is at a meeting for coaches as the team prepares.
