Mr. Meyer was born Dec. 8, 1934, in St. Louis, the son of Herman Meyer and wife Margaret, nee Henning.
On Sept. 16, 1956, in Warrenton, he was united in marriage to Earleen Nettles. They were married 51 years.
Mr. Meyer owned and operated Bob's Nursery and Tree Service in Warrenton for 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Earleen, on Dec. 27, 2007, and two sons, Michael Wayne and Leonard "Lenny" Jr.
Mr. Meyer is survived by one daughter, Lisa Misener and husband Scott, Union; two brothers, Don Meyer and wife, Mary, Colorado state, and Ted Meyer, Wright City; two sisters, Anna Murphy and husband Richard, Washington, and Doris Buxton and husband Eddie, Pendleton; two granddaughters, Ashley and Hiliary Lore; one great-granddaughter, Destiny Lore; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 12, at 5 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main St., Warrenton. Burial will be private.
Memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital in care of Martin Funeral Home, 510 E. Main St., Warrenton, MO 63383, are preferred.

William Fischer 1913-2009
William "Bill" Fischer, 95, Wentzville, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at his home.
Mr. Fischer was born Dec. 8, 1913, in St. Louis, the son of William E. Fischer and wife Alvena, nee Brenell.
He was a molder and was employed at Midwest Foundry for 34 years and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wentzville.
He was married on Oct. 12, 1946.
Mr. Fischer was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marie L. Mikkelson.
He is survived by his wife, Esther Fischer, Wentzville; two sons, William "Bill" L. (Debbie) Fischer, Wentzville, and Gary L. (Mary) Fischer, Moscow Mills; one daughter Linda (Rick) Muth, Chesapeake, Va.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 7, at Immanuel Lutheran Heritage Church, Wentzville, with the Rev. Lloyd Hackbarth officiating.
Burial was in Jonesburg City Cemetery.

Edith Bruning 1921-2009
Edith Idele Bruning, 88, Wright City, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at Warrenton Manor, Warrenton.
Mrs. Bruning was born Sept. 27, 1921, in St. Louis, the daughter of Clifford S. McCreery and wife Elvirda, nee Morice.
On April 12, 1941, in Linn, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Bruning. They were married 58 years.
Mrs. Bruning was employed as an art teacher for Fort Zumwalt School District for more than 33 years.
She was a member of College United Methodist Church, Warrenton, and a lifelong member of National Educators Association.
Mrs. Bruning was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Paul Bruning.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Bruning, Wright City; one daughter, Joy and husband Walter, Wright City; grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 6, at College United Methodist Church, Warrenton.
Burial was in Wright City Cemetery.

William B. Morris, 82, Warrenton, formerly of Mayflower, Ark., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Morris, nee Dirickson; three sons, Thomas Morris and wife Aya, Edward Morris and wife Peggy, and Robert Morris; three daughters, Catherine Morris, Elizabeth Kline and husband Gary, and Margaret Kinnin and husband George; one stepson, Alan Rhodes and wife Sharon; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation arrangements were handled by Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton.
Leo J. Klaas, 63, Foristell, passed away Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, at his home. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Klaas; three sons, Joseph (Susan) Klaas, Vincent (Katrina) Klaas, and Joshua (Julia) Klaas; three daughters, Lisa (Mike) Mulitach, Danette (Tim) Vellia, and Sherri (Danny) Meyer; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 10, at St. Patrick Church, Wentzville. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.
Visitation services for Ralph L. Beumer, 84, Augusta, will be held Friday, Nov. 13, from 10-11 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, Augusta. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Beumer died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Clara Beumer; two sons, Ron Beumer and Tim (Sharon) Beumer; one daughter, Nancy (Dennis) Finley; other relatives and many friends.
