Death Notices for Friday, Oct. 30: Madge Baker, Donald Cowan, Sister Judith Kleinheider and John Pierce

Funeral Services for Madge Baker Will Be Monday
Funeral services for Madge Baker, 87, Washington, will be held Monday, Nov. 2, at 10 a.m. at Oltmann Funeral Home, Union.
Burial will be in Stanton Community Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Nov. 1, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Baker died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009.
She is survived by one daughter, Charlotte Heimann and husband Norbert, Washington; two sons, George Baker and Leona, Marthasville, and Donald Baker and wife Kathy, Washington; other relatives and many friends.
The family is being served by Oltmann Funeral Home, Union.

Private Services Were Held for Donald Cowan
Funeral services were private for Donald G. Cowan, 63, Washington.
Mr. Cowan died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, in Washington.
He is survived by his wife, Laurann Jerre Cowan, nee Headrick, Washington; one daughter, Jessica Cowan and special friend Tony DiFatta; other relatives and many friends.
The family was served by Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington.

Memorial Mass for Sister Judith Kleinheider Will Be Monday
A memorial Mass for Sister Judith Ann Kleinheider, SSND, 75, St. Louis, will be held Monday, Nov. 2, at 10:30 a.m. at the School Sisters of Notre Dame motherhouse chapel, 320 E. Ripa Ave., south St. Louis County.
She donated her body to St. Louis University School of Medicine.
Sister Kleinheider died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at the School Sisters of Notre Dame motherhouse, St. Louis, from cancer.
Sister Kleinheider was born in Washington and entered the congregation of the School Sisters of Notre Dame in 1951 from St. Francis Borgia Parish, Washington.
She is survived by three sisters, Donna Alferman and Agnes Westhoelter, both of Washington, and Sister LaVerne Kleinheider, SSND, who serves in St. Louis; two brothers, Maurice Kleinheider, Washington, and Lester Kleinheider, Hermann; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services for John Pierce Were Held Friday
Funeral services for John E. Pierce, 49, Washington, were held Friday, Oct. 30, at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, St. Louis.
Mr. Pierce died Monday, Oct. 26, 2009.
The family was served by Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, St. Louis.
